As a member-driven organization, UHA is dedicated to fostering a collaborative spirit within the hospitality industry of Ubud. We achieve this by providing our members with a platform to connect, share best practices, and collectively elevate the guest experience in Ubud.

Association
Founded in 2004 by Mr. Pande Sutawan, Mr. Paul Blake, Mr. Supandi, Alm Mr. Ramiya and Mr. Komang Kariyana, UHA is an active participant in major decision-making bodies affecting the growth development and maintenance of the tourism industry.
Ubud Hotels Association (UHA) is a non-profit, non-government organization whose regular membership comprises primarily of hoteliers with a category of allied members who actively service the hospitality industry.
Over 120 hotels member ranging from non-star to star-rated hotels which share the same objective in preserving local value to ensure a sustainable tourism growth in Gianyar regency.
About Ubud
Located an hour away to the north of Bali’s capital, Denpasar, Ubud is internationally renowned for its visual arts, performances, and exceptional crafts. Thus, making it a significant cultural and artistic center in Indonesia. Situated in a higher altitude and surrounded by spectacular rice fields, Ubud enjoys gentle winds, keeping it cooler than Denpasar or coastal areas of Bali.
Ubud are filled with spectacular landmarks such as galleries, lotus pond, palaces, and temples. Most of them can be found near the main crossroad. The main palace, located in the center of Ubud, is opposite the town market and village theater, where nightly traditional dance performances are held. Besides cultural study opportunities, Ubud offers a unique chance to observe and participate in frequent Hindu-Balinese ceremonies. Recently, Ubud has also emerged as Bali's culinary hub, boasting world-class restaurants, cafés, and local eateries with wide variety of exceptional cuisines. Neighboring villages showcase exquisite artistry such as weaving, wood-carving, shadow puppets, and other crafts.

- To maintain active partnerships and links both internationally and locally with Government ministries, non-government agencies, associations and individuals to further the improvement of the tourism industry.
- To be a proactive and reactive lobbying force with the Government of Ubud for the benefit of the accommodation sector.
- To organize and support relevant and affordable workshops, seminars, and training opportunities for the tourism Industry.
- To organize, facilitate and support productive sales, advertising and marketing opportunities for members through cooperative advertising programs
